Nudefest2010
NUDEFEST2010 will take place from midday Thursday to midday Sunday, 17-20 June. The location is the same 25-acre, 400-pitch, usually-textile Newperran Holiday Park that will once again become a naturist resort for the weekend. We have exclusive use of the whole place, and nudity will be permitted throughout the event. As before, “naturist weeks” will run from Friday, 11 until Sunday, 27 June, and in the “non-Nudefest” times nudity will be permitted in designated camping fields so that you can make more of your trip to Cornwall.
It’s a great fun weekend and the opportunity to relax and share good times with like-minded people is what stands out, no doubt helped by the packed programme of events and activities that we put on at no extra charge. It’s too early to confirm any yet, but yoga, tai chi and belly-dancing classes/workshops, talks and feedback sessions, sports competitions and tuition, sideshows and exhibitors, live music, bingo, quiz and the famous naked disco, are all favourites.
Keep an eye out for further details as they are announced. If you would like to run an activity or help out generally, please let us know. There’s also plenty of chat and information on the forum – too many links to list them individually, but have a look in the events section and pick out the topics relating to Nudefest or search for “Nudefest” using the button at the top right of every page.

Questions and Answers
What and where is Nudefest 2010? Nudefest2010 is a weekend of events and activities run by British Naturism that takes place near Newquay in Cornwall at Newperran Holiday Park. Owned and managed by Keith and Christine Brewer, Newperran features a big heated swimming-pool with sunbathing terraces, large pub, shop, café, takeaway, children’s and toddlers’ play areas, games/TV room, modern shower, washing and toilet blocks and an aviary. Should the weather not be good, there are plenty of indoor areas. It’s set well back from any roads, is not overlooked and has views of the surrounding countryside, including the sea. It’s also only 21⁄2 miles from the coast and easy to get to, being close to the main road through Cornwall, the A30, with Newquay and Truro, with their rail stations and other transport links, close by. Newperran Holiday Park has previously won gold and silver in the Camping and Trailer Magazine’s “Campsite of the Year” awards and been named as one of the top ten touring parks in Cornwall by Practical Caravan Guide. Newperran Holiday Park is a 400-pitch campsite, all with electric hook-ups, so you bring your own tent, caravan or motorhome. Alternatively – New for 2010 – there are a small number of static vans available for hire by Nudefest guests.
What does it cost? Tickets are per person, at a fixed price irrespective of the grade of camping pitch you choose, the number of people sharing that pitch or your date of arrival. 3-day ticket, BN members – £50 per person 3-day ticket, non-BN members – £75 per person Under-18s pay half the BN members’ rates irrespective of whether or not their parents/guardians are members. There is no charge to children aged 5 and under. All tickets must be booked in advance. Static vans – 4/6 berth vans cost £276.00 (including linen), with 6/8 berth vans at £307.00, both for the period Thursday to Monday. NB – Prices do not include the Nudefest ticket which must be purchased separately. A £100 bond payment, which is returnable within 5 working days, is also required.
Can I attend Nudefest2010 if I am not staying at Newperran? Yes. It’s best to stay on site, but other accommodation locally is plentiful – ask for recommendations when booking – and you can come to Newperran on a day by day basis. 1-day ticket, BN members – £20 per person 1-day ticket, non-BN members – £30 per person Under-18s pay half the BN members’ rates irrespective of whether their parents/guardians are members. There is no charge to children aged 5 and under.
Can I bring friends who are not BN members? Yes, Nudefest2010 is open to all and presents a great opportunity to bring friends, family, neighbours and work colleagues to a naturist weekend – it’s an especially good event for first-timers. Non-BN members will pay more for their ticket, but would make a big saving if they join BN before the event.
